Joshua Elwer’s research interests include theories of literary studies and interdisciplinary approaches. Beyond James Joyce, he also focuses on other forms of modernism and postmodernism, metafiction, and the works of Samuel Beckett and William Blake. Questions that he deals with are, for example, what can we do with language in a literary work? What can we not do with language in a literary work? He is particularly interested in experimental forms of narration that foreground language in innovative ways.
