Der Fakultätsrat ist das oberste Gremium der Fakultät. Er tagt einmal pro Monat in der Vorlesungszeit. Seine Aufgaben und Zuständigkeiten werden durch das sächsische Hochschulfreiheitsgesetz geregelt. Ihm gehören Hochschullehrende, Mitarbeitende und Studierende der Fakultät an.
