The Parlamentarisches Patenschafts-Programm (PPP) is seeking mentors to support US exchange students during their time in Germany. Mentoring offers a unique opportunity to share experiences, introduce students to life in Leipzig, and engage in meaningful intercultural exchange.

The Parlamentarisches Patenschafts-Programm (PPP) seeks mentors across Germany who enjoy cultural exchange. Mentors are the first point of contact for US students at their placement location. They help students adjust to life in Germany, overcome language barriers, mediate conflicts, introduce them to their city, and challenge preconceptions about German culture and lifestyle. Mentors may assist students with practical matters such as registration, enrolling in university courses, or finding volunteer work or internships.
