This page provides information on the Student council Linguistics.

The student council supports the institute with the introductions to the first semester and on special university days such as open house and study information day, by giving a student's perspective on matters. The student council maintains its own website with important and interesting information for students of linguistics courses. As a student interest representative, you can also involve the student council in institute-related questions and conflicts. A member of the student council is also a member of the institute council, so that student issues can be addressed there directly; there is also student representation in the examination committee and in the study commission for American/English/linguistics. The student council also organizes events at which students from various cohorts and courses can get to know each other better (new student trip, Christmas party, foosball tournament, barbecue in the park, etc.). The student council is also a link to the student conferences on linguistics (STUTS).
