Anna Gaidash is Research Fellow at Leipzig University’s DFG-funded project “Enfreakment as an Invective Mode in US-American Popular Culture” (April 2024 – March 2025). She contributed to the field of American Studies a number of literary essays and articles, tackling age studies, literary gerontology, drama discourse. In addition, her research interests include comparative studies in literature (US-American-Ukrainian). Dr. Gaidash is the author of “Discourse of Aging in US-American Drama: Problematic Field, Semantics, Poetics” (2019) (in Ukrainian). Her reading of animated Science Fiction sitcom (the 2000s) as well as of film dramatization of Pulitzer-prize drama (the late 1970s) endeavors to complement the study of the correlation of enfreakment and invectivity from the perspective of age studies.
