The SHRIMP team at American Studies Leipzig invites interested lecturers to use the teaching and learning platform SHRIMP_PODS as part of a trial run in their courses in the upcoming semester. We offer a workshop to get to know the platform and explore its didactic possibilities.

Lecture Series
This summer term, the Institute for American Studies hosts a lecture series with different speakers on the cultural implications of Donald Trump's return to office. The lectures will generally take place Tuesdays, 5-7pm, starting in April. All are welcome!

Invitation to the lecture by Prof. Dr. Gabriele Pisarz-Ramirez. This event is part of a series hosted by the Institute for American Studies, examining the cultural implications of Trump’s return to office.
Professor Olaf Stieglitz will give a lecture analyzing how history and national memory are being debated in contemporary US-American culture, offering insights especially relevant in light of the United States' upcoming 250th anniversary in 2026.
